One of the most exciting things about mosaic arts is its diversity. Applications and designs include abstract, landscapes, florals, scenes, whimsical, shapes..... the possibilities are endless. Kelly can create a design for you from scratch, or work with you to design something that ties into your ideas and physical space.

Design and Planning

How to commission work:

Deciding what you would like to have done in mosaic is the first step (Kelly can help you with that too!). Are you wanting a custom mosaic backsplash for your kitchen or bath? An accent piece like a table top, sculpture, or mirror? Or do you want a special wall space created to make a huge impact for your home or business?

Once you have decided what you池e a looking for, Kelly will work with you to determine:

The size and shape of your project
Where the project will be located (wall, floor, freestanding, on a separate substrate)
What materials will be used
Design
Deadline

Design/ Consultation work is billed at $65 per hour
Remember mosaics take time to make so plan accordingly!

Estimates

After we have agreed on the project design and confirmed materials an estimate will be given. This will include any additional design time (if needed), price per sq foot ($150-$300+) based on materials used, and installation ($65+ per hour based on difficulty, materials, and equipment needed)

Once the estimate has been approved, a contract is signed, deposit given and Kelly begins your custom mosaic!
